Hi all. Within the past few weeks I have successfully added 5 fish to a 50 ltr Fishbox.

At the moment I have:

- 2 Harlequin Rasboras
- 1 White Widow (these 3 school together quite happily!)
- 1 Red Platy
- 1 Crowntail Betta

Would it be ok if I were to add any additional fish to the tank? I have a single Dwarf Gourami + 4 Endlers Livebearers in mind, but I'm aware that the Gouramis can get pretty big.....

PS - this will not be for a while yet; these fish (if ok) will be added in a few weeks or so, once the tank bacteria has become more established to the newest addition (the betta) =)

The endlers maybe ok but you will most probably have trouble with the betta and the gourami fighting. I would say that you are pretty much fully stocked. Maybe up the rasboras a couple

Thanks very much =)

Are there any good alternatives to the Gourami then?

Its Difficult to keep top dwelling fish with bettas. I Keep a afican Dwarf frog and a couple of Anamo shrimp ok with mine. You could try 3 or 4 pygmy cories as they are bottom dwellers
