Can Anyone Tell Me What This Shrimp Is?

I inherited this tank and shrimp 4 years ago, I have kept fish along side him since getting the tank but now all the fish have gone, he's just left. Can anyone please tell me what he is? And will he be able to live happily in a cold water tank as I would like to change it over to one.

Probably an Amano shrimp, me thinks. Pretty hardy and fun to watch, too.

Kind of a blurry pic, but I think its either a Amano shrimp or a Ghost shrimp.
 
And as for temps for shrimps, most sites will say anywhere between 20 to 28C (68 - 82F) although personally I prefer 20 to 24C as any warmer may shorten their lives.

Crazy story here I had 1 Amano shrimp for about 10 months always there doing her thing, I added 5 new Amanos and the next day all 6 have vanished? ? ? ? That was 4 days ago. I've looked in and out of my tank and no sign of them. My fish couldn't even eat river shimp that are smaller so the wouldn't of eaten these and no sign of body parts or any thing.
