Can Anyone tell me what kind of betta this is?

I work at My LFS, and found this amazing betta. THe only problem is no can describe his color. I'm guessing it is a mustard gas, but ur guess is as good as mine. Anythoughts are greatly appreciated.

Hard to tell from that pic. It looks grey, or black

A mustard gas is mostly purple, or sometimes blue, with yellow in the fins.

Why do you say it is a halfmoon? I am not saying you are wrong, but that pic is hard to tell anything. Do you have a pic of him flaring? Then we could see the tail spread.

Mustard Gases are usually blue, with yellow in the fins, or green. Only occasionally are they purple.

What kiara said mustard gases are usually blue/SOMETIMES purple and yellow/greenish...usually its yellow and blue but it depends on the betta's genetics

From the picture, it looks like a steel blue VT or delta...could you get a flaring pic?

I've try two dozen pics. my camera is not good so i cant get a real good pic. but depending on light conditions it changes color. yellow, gold, silver, blue, purple, green.
