Can Anyone Id This Please?

mmm must be the colouring then - unless I have identified incorrectly and it's normal colouring for whatever it is. Though must say it does look a bit unusual. But great tank with loads of caves, so see no reason the fish should be stressed :good:

Thanks Bloo for trying to help. I'm not disputing what you suggested its just really difficult trying to find out exactly what he is. We should have perhaps tried to do some research first but what with no one wanting him, we took pity :/
I've not given up cos I want to make sure that we know as much as we can about him.
Thanks once again.

I'd say L205. Mine's quite a bit darker, but it could be due to substrate.

It has indeed (elsewhere) been positively identified as a male L205 Peckoltia sp. :good:
Thanks so much Bloo. I've been on hols the past week so only just got on the forum. We can now hopefully find out a bit more about him. :D
Thanks once again, you are a star!

That is a lovely leopard plec, i had a similar problem in identifying mine. I wanted two clown plecs from my lfs and the women managed to catch a leopard plec instead...i thought he was stressed but it turns out he's a different plec all togehter!!

He's probably our favourite plec. His night time routine is to wiggle from one end of the tank glass to the other and then head dive into one of our plants! He repeats this a few times, munches on his wafers then hides back in his cave. What a life!
