this is my cat fish hopfully iv added the photos properly but ill discribe him also he is black with yellow stripes torpedo shaped and has a sucker mouth

Im going to guess flying fox Epalzeorhynchos kalopterus in good condition it gets a yellowy orange stripe down the side with black and a white belly torpedo shape and a bit of a sucker mouth.

id agree with wills, since when do golden nuggets have stripes?!?!?!?!
id go along the lines of flying fox or some species of algae eater maybe.

yeah but even rainbow garras don't have stripes as such, more of a banded mottled pattern.
