Hi, i bought these kribs the other day, i had to because i had a practically empty 20gallon tank and they were a breeding pair, and very very pretty :p £15 for the pair though

They are not normal kribs take a look....

What do you think?, anyone know what type they are?

thanks

They look like a normal pair to me, just with nicer colors. A color morph perhaps?

the normal krib (Pelvicachromis pulcher) has a different, tail shape
normal kribensis:

Pelvicachromis taeniatus:

there are many colour morphs of P. taeniatus i think 3 of them to be exact although not 100% sure

thanks for that, rare? i never thought that, maidenhead aquatics near me always have a breeding pair up for sale

o and one more thing...... are these type of kribensis harder to breed or same as the common kribs?
