Can Angelfish And Ghost Shrimp Co-Exist?

I know the answer is generally no, but are there any grey areas? I'm upgrading to a 55 gallon and I want to keep a densely planted community tank. I plan on stocking the tank with loads of ghost shrimp, a dwarf gourami, a bolivian ram, some white cloud minnows, some corys, and an angelfish. I'm going to buy a small angelfish in hopes that he'll be more likely to leave the shrimp alone.

do the shrimp stand a chance?

I can't comment on ghost shrimp, but I have several amano shrimp that co-inhabit a tank with an angel. However, there are many hiding spots so they might just be surviving by staying out of the way.
