Can a Betta live with Cherry Shrimp? or would they be eaten? Are they compatible?

The majority of bettas will eat cherry shrimps, or at least try to. Even if the shrimps escape being eaten you would hardly see them as they'd be in hiding unless the tank is heavily planted.

There may be a betta or two somewhere who won't bother shrimps, but these would be the exception not the rule.

Definitely no.
Majority of betta will kill anything that it can get hold of.
It will kill smaller fish, shrimps, etc, any weaken/sick fish.

Depends on the Betta, In a small tank( under 5 gallon ) maybe no, In a larger tank ( 10 gallon plus ), yes.

My shrimp happily live with 5 female bettas. The only danger the shrimp face is starvation because the Bettas steal their food.

I wouldn't mind if the betta ate some of the shrimp, they multiply quickly from what I have read.

What a gorgeous male betta!!
