I want to build a 240 gallon fresh water fish tank. 96x24x25Tall. what do i need. How thick does the glass have to be i cant order the glass until i know how thick it has to be. With everybody's help on here, I am going to build this tank so dont suggest buying one new or used. thanks

1/2" thick MINIMUM. preferably try for 5/8" float glass.


Make sure whoever cuts it to size polishes the edges

If you dont know what Rooster means by bracing, you really shouldn't be trying to build a tank.
