Hi JenCliBee

They are some nice looking fish you have there! Here's a link I thought you might like to see:

<a href="http://www.scotcat.com/factsheets/metae.html" target="_blank">http://www.scotcat.com/factsheets/metae.html</a>

hi thanx for the link hun, not sure if it was to ID the cory's as metae or not lol but im pretty sure there not. Metae dont have the line run through to the bottom of the tail like melini dobut they dont have the body markings like melini, but do have the same charactistics as in the line straight through the tail...body shape...head pattern etc etc hence the confusion on ID

Edited: having a nice close look im pushing towards them been C. davidsandsi going by the pics looks spot on :) but will see what others think lol

C. davidsandsi. The other is C. melini They oftentimes come in together upon import. - Frank

cheers frank was edgeing towards C. davidsandsi after seeing link from inchworm :) they didnt come into together i brought the 2 thinking they were melini to add to my breeding group of 5 lol but hey what the hell i may have a male and female and get lucky ;)

curious though are these cory's much more desirable and easy to get hold of? and what sort of price each are you looking at for these, curious now as i brought them as melini's :p

Hi. They are both very common, stateside, although we see C. melini a bit less. Basically a $5 fish. - Frank

Looks right, but you can't be sure unless you feel that the fish are the same age. Fish on the right could be an immature female, but I'd guess male if I was put on the spot. - Frank
