Now my lenticulata is in and settles and feeding greedily I thought I would get some better pics. As you can see the pink is getting alot more vibrant and its face marking are stunning. Sorry about the quality of pics it wouldnt stay still long enough to get decent shots anyway here is the best of what I got:

gorgeous. I sold my cobra pike last week and miss him although he was just too anti social!!

is that a synspilium behind him in first pic?

Hows its temperment so far? Pikes are usually a pest in community settings.

Its doing ok at the minute there all juvies at the minute so I am hoping that growing up together should help.

good luck with him then cos Pikes really do develop into gorgeous powerful looking fish but as CFC said I had to sell mine as I didn't have a big enough spare tank and he really wouldn't share with anything else. Pity really

Very nice fish. Always liked pikes but never had space for them.

Saw some in P@H other day (absolute horror shop but thats another story), they had some pikes of the lugubris group (big group I know) but they were small and in a dark tank so hard to get a positive ID, not that I would have bought them from there after the experience I had.

EDIT: Quite timely, with my avatar change as well :p, me wanting pike cichlids then this thread comming along, its a sign :p

Mind if I ask how much it was?
