Buying Bettas

Hi, I am not currently looking for a betta but out of curiosity where is the best place to buy one? I usually buy from my local petstore but can you get better quality somewhere else.

You could go into your LFS and ask if they could direct you to a Private Breeder that supplies them from time to time (Most likely they might buy from large wholesale farms)
Or you could try Aquabid.com, You can find some amazingly eye catching fish on there. Aquabid is a good site for breeders, but the prices of some fish might be a bit expensive if you just wanted a pet fish. Keep checking back in your LFS's they will have new fish added weekly so you might find something that you like.
