Buy/sell/swap Section Improvements?

A firmer mod stick being shaken would definately help If everyone followed a pre-defined structure for the title of a post in that forum it would be much better.

Perhaps the modstick needs rattling at anyone not following the structure, and posts removing even, till people get the message? Once the majority have learnt then its less work for the odd person post.

I have purchased plants, tanks, and fish from people on here. Only the first tank was from there. I don't have time to fish for people from the states. Also it is depressing to find all those things that you want and get your hopes up just to finally find that they are in another country!
Knowing where they are is important. I have quit looking. I rarely found things in the states anyway.

Another suggestion, though again this relys on the buy/sell/swap section being moderated closer than it is know.

In addition to what's already been mentioned, what about making it compulsory for all for sale posts to name a price, none of this 'make me an offer' nonsense? Other chat forums I'm on use this system and it seems to work fine.

Maybe putting your location should be compulsory for new members when they register

I was just there and only about 8 out of 32 posts (the first page) said where they were from where it should have been.
After reading this I had hope that it would be some better, but it's not.
For some it may not be a problem, but if you have a not so fast connection... It takes too long to have to wait for it to load just to find out it isn't even in your country. Then they have to wait to get back where you can wait to load another one that is again in another country...
It's just not worth the time and effort of going on the fishing trip to a lot of people. Not to mention the frustration involved.
I check in there when I have enough time, but that isn't very often. It just takes too long to find stuff that is actually in my country.
I am glad to see that I am not the only one that has a problem with this.
It wouldn't be that hard for them to just put where they are, but they just refuse to do it.
Some say that it is their loss, but it is ours too. There could be good deals in there that we will not see because we didn't have time to fish. Also a lot of us stop looking which could lose sales for even those that do put where they are from. It really does hurt everyone to some degree.
It is ok as is, but it would be so much better if something were done about this.

I have a good suggestion. Do you know how when you go to start a new topic you have to type in a topic, which is mandtory and then you can type in a topic description, which is optional. I thing that for that forum only when you make the topic there should also be a box to type in for location, which would be mandatory. That way in order for people to post they would have to type in their location.
