I've just been reading about reproductive cancers in unneutered male rabbits and the likely hood of it as they get older, so does anyone here know the signs of it? As my rabbit (Benji) is about 8 years now and hes never had any health issues or had his essentials removed!

Also im after rehoming a pair of Guinea Pigs and i know it's not a good idea to house them with rabbits but could they be exercised sometimes together for short periods? The old bunny isnt aggresive towards things, well unless i steal his rugby ball/girlfriend!! :shifty:

Guinea's will be ok together with a rabbit as long as there is a lot of space to get away from each other and places to hide.
I wouldn't recommend keeping them with the rabbit, I know you are saying your rabbit is non agreesive but I wouldnt risk it.

I would not advise mixing guinea pigs and your bunny as he might mistake them for a furry rugby ball resulting in a very traumatised guinea pig!!! Could you put a divider in the outdoor run so they can go out at the same time but in seperate compartments?

 yeah Benji is deffinatly not passed it yet. I could put a divider in the indoor run but i carn't really do the same to my whole garden! Wouldn't it even be possible to let them togther while i was with them? Because i want to give Benji (the bunny) some more friendship as hes become very sociable in his old age!!

we used to have bunnies and gunea pigs when we were kids and they never had any problems always laying and playing together. is this unusual?

Rabbits and guineas have different dietry needs and also a rabbit can do serious damage to a guinea even by accident.I definatly wouldnt ley mine near eachother

Like I said in my orginal post I wouldn't risk it. I would keep them in a run, I would be worried they could squeeze out somewhere in the garden.
As Graham has said Rabbits and Guineas have different dietary requirements and they also can become agreesive towards Guineas thats why I wouldnt advice keeping them together, if you want to get your rabbit a friend, get him neutered and get a Doe.

I used to section of my garden so the guineas could run free, I would be always with them supervising.

You can see this photo is pretty old now, a lot of the piggies have gone to 'Rainbow Bridge', I had a bad time with Gastroentritis and it killed around 30 my babies. It cleared within a year and half but I still lost my babies. :-(
