Hey all,
I want one last species of fish in my tank (if possible) and have looked at a variety of options. Apistogramma borellii and maybe some more tetra are what I've been most interested in. This is a lower southern american tank, and I saw some amazing looking buenos aires tetra at my LFS. I'm worried that they will squabble with my black skirts and the middle portion of the tank will be overstocked. I also can't tell if 30 inches is enough. Thoughts?

They're pretty ferocious amongst themselves in my experience. They wont squabble but more so dominate your black skirts if you combine them.

Iv never owned them but correct me if I’m wrong but I think there a similar nature to Colombian tetra and my Colombian are funny as , they are feral during feeding like little piranhas lol ..I think they would be best with larger fish or tetra of the same size like Colombian

Thought you were settled on getting Lemons? What about black neons?

I can't find any lemons anywhere :/. I thought about black neons, but I've heard that they could get outcompeted by the black skirts.
