Seriously though, if you have a tap water faucet within 25' of the tank, with a screw-off aerator, get one of these...makes WC's SO much simpler, IME....I wouldn't do a WC without one...they also sell them with longer hose lengths

I just use a large plastic bowl for that...

I have a homemade python vacuum and at least 4 buckets for my fish keeping tasks, they always come in handy.

I like to use things just for the aquarium. No need to accidentally contaminate my aquarium.
