forgive me if this sounds absolutely dumb....
but today we went to get more aquarium gravel for our tank, got some really nice fine stuff for now (eventually will change to sand for our cory's) we rinsed with cold water VERY well to make sure nothing was on it at all, and since we were at it did a 25% water change, cleaned the old gravel that was in there, and shook off our plastic plants. well we added the gravel and put the plants back, oh and we gently rinsed our filter media (in tank water) well we put everything back together and went about our business for a few hours and noticed that now we are having an abundance of bubbles (air bubbles?) on the top of this tank..... is this ok?? ive never noticed it before and neither has my husband. i dont think they are soap bubbles (not that we used soap) as they are not getting bigger and seem to for the most park disapate as they get away from the filter.but at the same time since we rinsed our filter media our filter seems to be working alot better and pushing the water our harder.
