I already have a small bubble tip, but i was looking at getting a bigger one because my clown seams way to big for my nem.. So if i get a bigger bubble tip, will my clown go for the larger bubble tip? thanks!

I believe it would work. Not sure though: if you take the smaller one out first and dont add the new nem for about a week and then add the new nem it would probably work.

I now have 7 bubble tips, all captive bred, one in my own tank, the rest from a guy that wanted rid of them. The maroon regularly alternates between all of them. The now largest one was in the tank for months before the others were introduced.

A little bit of the subject how big do BTA grow? And how fast growing are they? Its just I wouldn't mind getting one for my reef tank but I do not want it to grow too big and attack my corals?

I've seen BTA's when inflated have disks of 8" in diameter with tentacles similarly long, so yeah they can get big. Usually when they get that big though they'll be close to splitting.

As for how fast, that all depends on water quality and feeding regimen

Two of mine were as big as Ski mentions, but one split and the other hasn't been that big for a while now (but it is recovering daily). Rapid swings in DOC and perhaps even cotaminants from several ice cubes I used to attempt to move one that was causing trouble, to say the least.

Moving it turned out to be an incredibly stupid decision, as while still healthy, it has been in hiding for weeks now and is beginning to bleach. It is not unheard of for Bubble tips to hide until they bleach then come back out and colour up, so hopes are still high for the hider. One half of the split is still hiding as well, but he still gets a bit of light.

As for compatibility, mine regularly expand to the point of touching corals, but cause no harm. The polyps don't even retract.

Finally, as always my recommendation for captive bred bubble tips (Entacmaea quadricolour) to be the first choice in symbiotic nems, and for un-bleached Heteractis crispa, Stichodactlya haddoni carpets, bubble tips and Macrodactylum doreenensis to be the second choice.

ive seen tanks with dozens of smaller, split anemones, that dont get that big before they split again, on the other hand, i see tanks with huge BTA nems that arent splitting and grow to be pretty big. So i guess size may vary.
