I'm going to invest in buying a BE goldfish. I'll be buying a ten gallon tank and it'll have a fine gravel and maybe a silk plant or two. Only thing I was wondering was what kind of filter would I need for it cause I know goldfish need bigger filters then the actual tank but I was just curious because the current might be too strong for the BE?

Any help is appreciated. :)

I have an Interpet PF1 filter for my 24" 12 gallon tank. They're supposed to do only 18" aquariums but I've got good water movement all over with it. It also has an adjustable outlet so you could redirect the flow to the back of the tank wall...
I've gone for a smaller filter as I want to have a Betta in that tank. You could go for the PF2 for your goldfish... :)

Any filter you do choose you will need to add some sponge to the corners to stop it hitting its eye off them.

Ok. I'm basically just asking like, instead of just buying a filter meant for a 10 gallon I should buy one meant for a 20 gallon? or higher, or what?

As its just for the one fish you should be able to get away with a fluval1 or similar but you will have to do more in the way of water changing, say twice a week at 30%.
BE fish need warmer water than your average fantail as they arent bred for colder water. A heater set to around 20c will be needed, but get a thermometer as well to get an accurate reading.
And test kits too.

Fluval 1 isnt enough, you need a filter thats GPH is 10x the gallonage of the tank :) so you need at least 100GPH..
but im not sure about the saftey procedures for the bubbles, iv never kept them myself so i've never had to overcome that problem!

oh yea, didnt think of that, a spray bar would be a good idea since they are not the most agile goldfish and would probably get swept about a bit, but you need that filtration either way.
