Although bubble algae is considered a nuisance in the tank, it's rate of growth truly makes it a low threat. IMO, it gets more press than needed. Yes..it should be removed carefully when possible but I never panic about it.

Cyano occurs typically in immature tanks and is one reason why new nano'ers should stock their tanks with coral immediately after cycling has completed.
