Btt's Malawi Tank

Don't know how i missed this thread. Nice work. I really like what you've done! ;-)

I've now put a black background on the back of the tank and it has cleared up. Looking 100 x better than before. :good:

I was in Dobbies at the weekend there and was sorely tempted to get some Livingstoni, but managed to resist. I'm going to get a few more limestone cobbles to hide the filter pipes as far as possible, and add some more sand in the middle (there is still a bit of egg crate uncovered), then it will be time for fish.

No need for a cycle, I'll be stealing mature media from my established Vision 260. :good:

I'll try to get more pics up soon.

Cheers :good:

I'm not sure exactly, Shelagh. I'd guess they are 1 - 2kg each, and there is 35 of them. You do the math.

Can't wait to get fish now.

My other half changed her mind at the last minute, and now wants Mbuna rather than Haps. :dunno:

I picked up 7 x Pseudotropheus Demasoni yesterday, and all are fine this morning. I'll post pics up later.

Ahhh, another convert. :hey:

Not sure of your future plans with them, but you'll need to get at least 5 more dems before the ones you have reach sexual maturity. Not sure why, but dems only seem to work with 1 or 12+, it's all down to aggression but how they know 12 is the magic number is beyond me.
