The question had already been answered Paul:

He is usally, I was using him to cycle one of my new tanks and I wanted somehting different other than our goldfish in there tongue2.gif He's in the now in the pond.

All the Boesmani rainbows in the shops i visit look like that. I think it is because they are juveniles not because they are hybrids.

When I was hunting around at the Rainbows I actually looked at my LFS fish guide book and the boesmani were the kind that I have pointed out.

It is true that if yours are very young that they may look different, but I guess you will know sooner or later.

Rainbows are lovely fish regardless of what kind they are. I STILL can't figure out what kind I have................
