Having a real battle on my hands with bryopsis currently having to resort to removing it regularly even though im using rowaphos and purigen with activated carbon, the only thing I can think of doing is reducing my lighting times, the only concern with this is how far I reduce it by as I have a derasa clam, my asumption is that it has suddenly taken off due to changing over to a 250W Mh pendant a few months back, with a 10000k lamp and 2x39w t5 actinic tubes (which I run in addition to the 250w through the day).
I am keen to completely leave the lights off for a few days but again due to the clam (all the others should be ok) not sure its practicle anyone wish to give me advice on firstly reducing lighting times (min amount of time I can get away with lighting the tank for) and secondly blacking out for a few days I would be very greatful!
