Quick update:
Done a right bit of pruning before adding trace elements. As I got into it there were yellow leaves and leaves with holes.
I've been dosing trace elements all week. The java moss and crypts seem to enjoy it but the mystery plant seems to be getting a coat of diatoms.
Diatoms usually indicates ammonia spike. Or excess silica from sand or silicon. But this is normally when the sand or tank is new.
Give it time, at least another 2 weeks and let us know how your plants are doing
If your plant continues to produce holes in it leaves and turning yellow after this period let us know as this usually indicates a co2 deficiency.
But so far so good its still early days.
