So there are more than 2 females? The others just never participate in spawning?

Yes, the non-mature females just won't participate. However, males seem to mature faster than females so it all depends on the age of your females, and whether they like to spawn or not where they are housed.

So once all the corys are mature they will all spawn together?  Does group size affect this?

Cory behavior is always better with the bigger of a group that you have, so I'm sure having a larger group would certainly help and obviously the more cories you have, the better the chance of spawning. There is no way to guarantee spawning, you just provide the best habitat that you can and give lots of protein and lots of fresh clean water, and a stable ph. Water changes always help too :)

I've noticed this too Snazy. I picked up two tiny green cories bc I think I have 5f - 2m, so I wanted to get a couple more males in my group. They're so small, and I already see one of them giving my two big females the :hey: lol

Well as to all spawning together, perhaps. Depends on the girls. You know females have to be "in the mood". Males on the other hand, if the sun came up in the East, we're ready. But mostly if they are mature sexually, around nine months for Bronze, one spawing can trigger others.
