Bronze Eggs, Now What?

Lol. Not even sure if they're still alive  Have some fine BBS awaiting them, hopefully this will be adequate as i don't have anything else for them.

As said if i get enough to make my 3 up to 10 then i will be very pleased indeed!! :D

My bronze corys laid eggs on the 3rd but none hatched.Came downstairs this morning and they have laid more.

Can actually see a bit of movement on the surface of the sand now and have strated to introduce a very small ammount of fine BBS.

Thankyou! :) Looking forward to seeing them develop.

It is a shame that it isn't a panda spawn or some other more desireable cory, but that can come in the future. I tried it with the bronze to see if i could do it as i already had them and before i go out and spend a bit of money on some rarer ones.

If these get to a saleable size then i will try and move them on for 50p each. Do you think that sounds ok?

Closer insection has revealed LOADS!! They're quite long, a lot longer than what I thought they would be. More like livebearer fry.

Really pleased and excited!

Just done a 10% water change. Will do another one tomorrow and so on.

You will find it quite hard to shift bronze corys for cash, especially on ebay, they often come up and i see a guy selling 50 for about £15 tops. Most of the local fish shops wont pay either as they are so common. Have to admit to seeing full tanks of them whenever i browse their stock. Pretty sure you could flog some on the forum here though.

I got rid of my Tiger Barbs yesterday, my bronze corys just spawned about 1000 eggs, lol :/ stupid things :/

Yeah i am confident in shifting them for 50p each mate. Postage always helps too.

What do you think to Metae? Would they sell for a bit more?

lol. These are what Mattlee used to breed. I'm tight though and don't fancy an out lay of about £8 a fish and having to buy 6. lol. Although i would probably only buy 3. Just like the Metae as they're similar to Panda's but without the cost.

Not doing it to make money really, but if i can sell a few and i get enough money back to get some fish food etc then i am a happy chappy. :D

i was hoping to have a go at Metas they are ace. my male snuffed it though after the move to the big tank, bleh.

yeah pretty decent price, cory prices fluctuate loads, adolfio corys are probably one of the best ones to breed, £10 in many shops, quality ones anyway

Yeah they're a bomb. Considering 3 of the cw61 that are for sale in the classifieds seeing as they're so local. :/
