what is the normal behaviour for these? i added 6 to my tank yesterday, and have been doing fine, but last say 3 hours they have been moving up and down the back of the glass, is this normal?

thanks

I have a gang of bronze corys in my tank and they're pretty active little guys, whizzing all over the place and digging around non-stop so I think it's pretty normal behaviour for them.

Hope this helps :good:

cheers, mine just keep going from top to bottom on the back glass, thought there mite of bin something wrong with them

Should settle down after a while, mine were going crazy, up/down/up/down nearly leaving the water completely at times

But now they're settled its not so bad and its only the occasional darting around, too busy digging around most of the time

They sound normal but couldn't hurt to keep an eye on them, I find it hard not to!

+1 perfectly normal behaviour, especially when they are new to the tank. they should settle down a bit but corys are notorious for their strange, yet highly entertaining behaviour!!! keep an eye on them (as i am sure you do with all your fish) but i really wouldn't be too concerned.

L :good:

Mine are super active and swimming all over the place, so I think it's normal. Is the water stream of the filter in that area of the tank? I've found mine adore swiming against the current created by the filter.
