I somehow deleted my original post when I tried to update some mistakes I made.

Wow, that's a lot of guppies you have there.

Lucky you had the spare tank, I'd be in trouble if this ever happened to me. What's the long term plan for the Ghost Knife and does the betta not want to scrap with the guppies?

I think we have about 400 Guppies in total, in various tanks.

Personally, I really dislike them - but they're forever being dumped on us.

The Ghost Knife will stay with me, no matter how big he gets. We have just bought a 6ft tank - so when he outgrows all of the other tanks he'll go in there, and if he ever requires it - I will buy another bigger tank to house him.

The Fighter is not attacking or fronting up to the Guppies at all. I did wonder if he would, but he's quite a placid fella.

Fair enough mate, nice work.

i like guppies the more the better
i started out with four in a 522
and ended up with over 600 which
i give most of them away every
body who came around went home with a
bag of guppies

Like you, I will be giving most of them away - if not all of them.

The only ones I have any real interest in keeping live with another of my Fighter Fish: 4 big females and a pathetically small male :good:

Hrm, woke up this morning to find all 3 of my Amanno Shrimps dead. No idea why.

Water levels are all fine - everything is testing as it always does.

It's a shame..I've had them for ages :(

Anyway...some plants off eBay came this morning and I'm really quite suprised, they're not bad at all! I've just stuck them in for the time being and will properly plant them up tonight.

I also made a Java Moss covered coconut shell cave last night - total cost was £1.89 (for the shell, as I already had the moss). Not bad, considering they're £9-00 in the LFSs.

Oh, and one of my female Guppies exploded with babies again this morning, hence the breeding tank.
