I recently purchased a Tunze Nanostream 6025, it was a guy on e-bay (wish i had'nt of now!).

I received it yesterday, the magnet holder clips had broken off it, it transit, therefor not being able to mount it in my tank. I contacted the seller and he has asked for the orginal one back so he can get a new part sent out. And this is gonna take some time i feel.

Just wondered if anyone had any advice for me as what to do, if there is a special place out there that could help me? (no jokes now)

I know thats what i get with buying off e-bay, i think i have learnt my lesson now.

Any help would be muchos aprecciated

Thanks

Yeah tried that, they just want to charge me £5 for a new one. A couple of people have said i should superglue ot on the to the magnet, might try that.

If the clips are plastic, try using a solvent weld as opposed to a glue. This will melt the two surfaces together and actually weld them as opposed to sticking them. It will make the join significantly stronger :good:

Yeah, dunno if I'd trust the superglue to the moutning bracket. That's where all the force is, and I would be wary of the joing holding. TBH, I'd just pay the 5 quid, that's not a whole lot
