I have a light strip that takes two light bulbs. The bulbs were long overdue to be changed. I went out and bought more bulbs and started to replace them. You know how you have to turn the bulbs to get them into the socket (I dunno what they're called)? Well I turned the bulb the wrong way, and now the bulb won't turn on. The bulb itself is fine, it works in the other socket. I think I broke it, can it be fixed?

Not to hot with electrics but check the fuse for that tube, possibly you may have bent the metal contacts in the holder of the one that won't light if you've twisted it too much if so try to make sure they make contact easily done as it will be a very malleable metal.

No matter which way I turn it it won't turn on. :/

Do you think if I brought the light strip to a hardware store, they could help me replace the sockets?

I don't know you'd be best phoning them in advance to save you carrying it all the way there only for them to turn you down. Worth a try though
