Once again, please excuse the red eye

:good:

 The other fish are trying to hang out with the cories. They probably wanna be cool lol

Really lovely, Barracuda!

I just must get my Brochis splendens on white sand. I have them on black and the green just doesn't show.

What is the spotted fellow poking his nose in?????

Thanks!

Well, there are 2 spotted fish in those pictures. The loach is a Botia kubotai and the fish is a Dianema longibarbis.

Is that a porthole catfish I see in one of those pics?! Nice! :good:

And sorry to share the spotlight, but my guys wanted to join in

here they are with the hitch hiker red tailed blue loach (who is now in the 10 gallon quarinteening)

And here they are in a trio, not the quarteet.

hehe, great fun to watch as always.

got a new porthole. I know I should have waited a bit, but I couldn't help it. check the pics section. gotta love em don't ya?

I also think I posted these somewhere in the pic forum, but don;'t recall them being posted here.

Porthole catfish are a great fish. Remember, they are a very shy and docile fish. They require company of their own kind more then any other fish Ive kept. I have had them for a year and a half and I have never seen one of them alone. In other words, you need to get some more to join the one you have :good:

EDIT: Just so you know, that Yasuhikotakia modesta (red tailed botia) is going to get nasty, especially since its by itself.

Did you get just the one?

Yes, I have only one of the larger Brochis Multiradiatus [over 3 inch] and 3 smaller 1.5 inch. Also Got a few of Brochis Splendens in other tank at least 5-6 but the big one by himself with other Cory.

hmmmm. on the porthole....

shy? Not at all. Right now he's the most outgoing fish in the tank! :hyper:
He's up in the pennywort, down on the java moss, and all over. he's taking everything as his territory that other fish haven;t.

Don;t worry,. he should get two more friends come january 4th, should they not be sold.

Ok, but I would be more worried about that Yasuhikotakia modesta (red tailed botia) you have then the porthole catfish.

I dont understand. Why don't you keep them all together?

The Brochis I bought in different time and they are all in differnt tank some of the are in the big tank and hard to catch with heavy plants but I plan to keep them together soon.

They are happy with other Cory. The larger one I has him for a week now[ wild cought] in the store at least 3-4 month and only three left but I was low on my budget. I got other cory at the same time but I plan to get other who I left behind.

Ahh, I understand that. They can be tricky to catch, especially in a planted tank.
