Honestly, I don't know why people complain about guppies and platies! I haven't had half as much trouble with them breeding as I do with the bristlies. mR B has just retired into his cave for his fifth batch since late this summer. I've got little bristlies coming out of my ears, it's costing me a fortune in cucumber and carrots and courgette, my children never get at the vitamin C! And they're probably only a few years old, they could go on like this for years and years :grr: Well, once he emerges from his current bit of brooding, he' going to get a shock- I'm sending the missus into retirement! It will take some rearranging of the tanks but it has got to be done. Celibacy from now on!

:D

split them up :)

then move on to some other small plecs... see how you get on with them :)

I know what you mean I tried and tried to breen mine then when I got a propor pair they just wont stop :D

went out last night to feed 'the shed fish'

The holding tank with 4 bristlenoses has a whole lot of mini additions.
Looks like the albino females have finally matured!

Anyone looking for breeding mixed pairs :D??

Thank you, not me, just at the moment. Though I have no doubt you'll be able to tempt me into all sorts of foolish and reckless behaviour later on, in conjunction with other loricariids. :p
