Bristlenose pleco white patches

Hi there,

I've noticed some strange skin patches on my pleco, they've been there quite a while and it seems otherwise fine - eating, swimming and active as normal. Just wondering if this is something I should be concerned about?

Tank is 210L with Cory's, Ember and cardinal tetras. Water quality and other fish seem fine.

Do the spots seem fuzzy in any way? Or do they seem flush with its skin?

it could be colouration/ camouflage as the fish tries to blend in with the sand substrate.

They seem flush as far as I can tell, he tends to swim away if I get too close so it's hard to get a good look.

It is probably camouflage, as @Colin_T said.

Agree. This is all that it is. Mine always have this colouration when they are out.

Mine is albino, so I can't really tell.
