Will they eat jmc catfish pellets?
and also what else will they eat or what else should i feed them?

thanks, ryan :good:

mine eats all sorts, some veggies (mostly cucumber) frozen bloodworm, pleco tablets.

I think they need some wood in the tank too, although i may be mixing them up with another kind of plec

yeah they need some wood to chew on.. and they eat algea ofcourse but was just wondering what else.. thanks mate :)

Mine like the hikari wafers but there eat most stuff given the chance. Thay like bogwood and mopani (mopani it can be a bit to hard for them tho)

JMC pellets go down a treat with my BN's ;)

they love cucumber and also a little bloodworm when they can get it ;)

should be more veggie based than pellet/bloodworm based diet.

if JMC are the ones i am thinking of with the orange lable they are relatively high in animal protein as opposed to something like wardleys wafers.

Courgette is a big hit with them

Mine like Hikari algae wafers and will eat the occasional bit of cucumber. Both seem to be surgically attached to their respective lumps of bogwood - they use to do a lot of cleaning when younger but have grown lazy as adults!

My bristle nose loves algae pellets and blood worm. He also goes nuts for cucumber, he won't get off it till it's all gone!

I haven't got any bog wood in my tank as it turned my water brown even though i'd soaked it first, do they need it?

Mine gets Hikari algae wafers, and it also eats the sinking wafers and shrimp pellets I put in for my cories. I try to give him a chunk of zucchini quite regularly too, he loves it, he'll devour a piece three times his size in 48 hours leaving nothing but the skin!

Try putting the bogwood in a bucket of water for a couple of days, keep changing the water until it's eventually clear, then put it in your fish tank. Bogwood is good for their diet, so I'd say they do need it ! :good:
