Bristlenose Gender ?

I know this should be an obvious answer but apparently not so.
Mine has a few bristles along the mouth starting but I don't see any others.
I figured I would ask the experts

It looks quite small so to have bristles at that age i would say its definitely male.

I think it is probably male too. How long ago did you purchase him?

Females have smooth heads.

Males have bristles.

So I'm guessing you have a male by the looks of things.
