He's right. It is very rarely ever like this; we are usually very friendly. Maybe someone will report this thread; I'm not going to do it, because in my opinion, one should not be able to escape such atrocities so easily.

Mr.September's words have shocked me; never have I seen such a rude outburst (and I'd be willing to bet that I have been in some of the fiercest Fishforum arguments of any one here! Chac might remember a few of those). Usually, Mr.September is a nice guy. I don't know what happened.

while the original post has been edited, so that i cannot completely know the original content, Mr. September has not been particularly offensive just childish and intensely annoying. so i doubt that this thread will be closed unless so requested by the original poster.

i would also like to point-out that Mr. S is not being "racist" by making foolish remarks against Canadians, seeing as how "Canadian" is not a race nor even an ethnicity. let's not water-down the term, people. "bigoted" or "xenophobic", however, are both viable options. :good:

I took offense from the comment; a joke about how we sometimes say 'eh' or something light-hearted along those lines ( I have to admit, the episode of South Park where they go to Canada was pretty funny ) is one side, and quite tolerable in my opinion. But a statement like this;
The world is so f***ed up because theres canadians living on it
is completely another. Even if it was intended of a joke, it is of extremely poor taste. How could he expect some people not to be offended? The statement (and those of his that followed it) was childish, intensely annoying, and offending; most definetly an improper statement to post on an international forum.

getting back on topic as people have already said all tanks will have some sort of deterious eating worm living within the rock including bristle worms in my opinion leave them alone enjoy them when you see them if they start to threaten your live stock then remove the offending worm

sorry about the previous posts lucy hope it doesn't put you off posting on here :good: :good:

Unfortunately, it may be necessary to remove the larger worms; they can grow indefinetly, and I have seen horror stories where people have found 4' worms hiding in the rock! :drool:

This post is officially closed....I have read it in it's entirety and I apologize to the original poster. I am now cautioning those people here posting masked obscenities, there that will be no warning next time and I WILL play my moderator card, which I try to avoid, and will take action. I totally enjoy this forum and have great respect for those sharing their knowledge in an area of complicated aquarism. Cease and desist. SH
