Bristle Nose Questions

hi all
just a few question on bristlenose catfish
how big do they get?
how can you sex them?

They get 4-5 inches big.

You can only sex them when they reach 2 inches so how big is yours?

Bristlenose Catfish usually grow to 4-5" as Miah said.
They can be sexed from when they are about 1 1/2". Males develop long bristles around the mouth and along the head. Females can develop small bristles but only around the mouth.

as every one else have sed 4-5 ins long can be sex at 2ins or 6mths old normaly anyway

its hard too tell because they're always hiding but my biggest is defo over 2 inches
its growing small bristles round the sides

I think it might be a male. 70% of me thinks it's a male. 30% of me thinks it's a female.

this is one of my breeding pairs that i am waiting for them to breed
