Tonight,... they are getting it straight cucumber. At times, I alternate Cucumber, Carrots, and baby marrow on the kebab stick.....

Unfortunately, it is in an outside pond where I have only top down vision and since I normally feed them at night, (Being nocturnal fish)... I only collect the stick in the morning with no morsels left...... So!.... even myself..... I do not see the feast going on after dark.

Can I ask a question? I don't know if its normal that my golden algae eater leaves the skin of cucumber. He eats everything except the skin when he gets cucumber.

I think different Plecs prefer different bits.

I have had a one of my PLecs getting stuck in the hole in the inside bit of a cucumber it was eating. While others seem to eat the tougher skin only.

Ludwig, when I saw the topic I was expecting to see the Plecs on a braai (barbeque)!
