Hi, are bristle nose cat fish nocturnal? its just ours vanish's for long periods, but as soon as light is out he's attacking the sides of the tank with great effect! he seems to get on well with the dwarf puffers and shrimp though, to be fair he was in the tank for a while before the others went in so he knows all the hiding holes

Yes, but with most BN's they tend to be very energetic most of the day and it's quite common for them to be around :)
