Brightest Bulb

Just was wondering what would be a stronger light, than I have now. I am using a 40watt preheat bulb, for my 29 gallon tank. Any thoughts? Also what can i buy to clean my glass under my tank hood. It is really getting thick from splashing and looks nasty. Thanks

I don't know what you mean by a "pre heat" bulb. Could you elaborate.

Most of the crud that forms on cover glass is limescale. Scrape the worst of it off with a razor blade and then dissolve the stains off with vinegar or lemon juice.
