Brightening Up A Tiny Tank?

At this time, most of the LEDs being sold are not the right light spectrum for plant growth. They may well be the lamps of the future, but the technology is young and the lamps do not exhibit a good spectrum for plants yet.

No worries, the LEDs would be a supplementary light to the plant spectrum bulb that's already in there, and the plants are doing well with. I'm getting the LEDs just to brighten it up a little for my eyes.

Just as an update, I added the LED strip today and it worked perfectly. I have just the right amount of light now. Thanks for all your help everyone.
