Hello,
I am a rainbow shark fanatic, and am interested in attempting breeding them. I don't mean to jump to conclusions, but please don't tell me it can't be done or its difficult, because I know it is difficult, and I know it can be done.
I was wondering if anyone here has done it, knows someone who has, or could tell me anything about it.
I have done lots of research, to learn how they breed their very close cousin, the common carp and other similar fish, including these guys. I believe it's something I can accomplish.

I have 2 males and a female, all healthy and vibrant. The males are approximately 4" and 5", and the female is about 5.5" and is obviously full of eggs. Just thought it would be helpful to know about the brood stock.

I am basically going to use a large (5'X3') container that is shallow, like the rivers, swamps and flats they come from naturally. It is also shallow, only 8" tall. I am going to try the usual spawning triggers for carp as well as match the weather conditions in thailand during the times of year they would spawn naturally.

So again, If you can add anything, comment on my ideas, or just point me in the right direction, any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
