Breeding Parrot Fish

yes i did actually... but you dont have to believe me just inserting my opinion as all....
is there any surefire way to mate two seperate species of fish, because most of my hybrids were acidental and out of my control, but however if i was able to get 2 fish i wanted to mate, is there any surefire way of getting them to pair?

blood parrot female + convict male = jellybean.
jellybeans are smaller and can more resemble convicts, some are coloured like convicts depending on what type of convict the parent was. they are aggressive and not infertile. grow alot smaller than bps max for a male 6"

Blood parrots are hybrids and therefore sterile, sorry.

Sorry but there maybe a few exceptions.

I don't think there's any surefire way to get different species to breed.. Fish are like SOME people.. they wont just mate with any fish of the opposite sex.

There is no sure-fire way of getting any pair of fish to breed - let alone two seperate species that are that much less inclined to cooperate.

Is it me or has no one asked the obvious question? What color were the two parrots before they bred? We could at least determing whether the fading was because they were dyed!

Whats probably happened is the person to buy the first fish bought 2 pink dyed balloon pink cons(JB's)and the fry from this obviously didnt deveop colour as the natural colour of them is white to very light pink.
