I have 3 males and 16 females with glowlight tetras and cories in a 75 gallon tank. So far in 2 years I have had 1 baby born in my tank. Has anyone had any success breeding them in a community tank? I know I can set up another tank but that's not as cool. Any suggestions to up my chances?

That is not the correct way to keep Male Bettas,
Male Bettas are solitary fish and Best kept that way.

I can see a male tending his bubble nest with eggs in it killing rival males and any female that gets too close, or the male being killed.

This will end in disaster and I want no part of it.

I get that reaction a lot. The tank was set up in January 2016 and they were all supposed to be baby girls. Some turned out to be male and I didn't feel a need to separate them. Still dont. Its not necessarily a stocking I would recommend but its working for me.
