Breeding In A Comm Tank?

I have had my tanks for many years and bred many sets of fry from all dif african chiclids... i love them ...
i had to move las year and gave awy the ones i had.. i have a 75 gallon tank

any way i have about 6 tiger barbs, red fin shark, about 4 corys, plattys( one male and 4 females) and 4 guppys ( 1 male and 4 females) ...
I waswondering since i know that my female plattys and guppys are soon to give birth if i have to move them to another tank?
i have a ton of live plants and real rocks and caves... tons of hiding places. when i had chiclids i never had a problem with many fo the fry living due to the hiding places!
i was just wondering since my tank has so many hiding places and plant life it any of u think that many of the fry from the plattys and guppys will live?

Chances of them surviving with the shark and barbs are slim. I would move them to another tank if youre planning on keeping the fry. They should survive provided you give them cover . I just have plants in my livebearer tanks, I've never used rocks or caves so I couldn't tell ya wether to keep them in there or not.

thanks.. like i said i just know that with my african chiclids the female was very protective.. and a mouth breeder... and the fry made it to about 2 weeks old and could hide on their own! ...
never done live breeders

Livebearer parents don't defend their young and most of the time eat them. The only livebearer I've found to not eat their young is platies. If you have plants in there that should be enough because platie fry are good at hiding.
