Breeding Group Of Sterbai Cory

hi all just curious if anybody is interested in a breeding group of sterbai cory the group consist of 2 female and 3 males and i cureently have fry from these rite now they spawn regulary but this is just 2 see if any 1 would be interested fry can be seen when the buyer picks the adults up if i do decide 2 sell


PM me with offers as im not entirely sure wot they would be worth but wot i do know is there is a lot of profit in selling the fry on so based on this please dont PM with silly offers please

I simply don't have the facilities for planned breeding right now (although I am in the process of trying to hatch the 3 eggs I managed to salvage from my albino corys), but otherwise I'd have been knocking on your door by now =) Same thing is the only reason I haven't gone and bought myself half a dozen albino sterbai yet.

thats a shame u havent got the room hun ...looking for a couple male albino sterbai myself 2 add 2 my other group 2 bring the line into the group hopefully that shop u recommended still has some when i have the time 2 get down there ...im sure these will sell anyways if not i will just keep the 2 breeding groups i have and make more of the profit with 2 lots of batches lol specially beens the selling group are spawning again rite at this minute lol

Let me just point out that this is a "Proven Spawning Group" and that should bring more money than a group of corys that haven't spawned together yet. These have to be mature and healthy.

It's sad to think you might be selling them, JenCliBee, but I'm sure you'll be making whoever gets them very happy.

cheers m8 i have 2 groups in 2 seperate tanks both breeding on a regular basis well as said above there actually still spawning now (the group im selling) and so far 60 ish maybe more eggs but i havent been in parts of the day so theyve prob eaten a few aswell lol but i dont need the 2 groups now and need 2 free up the tank this group in using so i thought id see if any 1 would be interested i guess i was wrong but if needs must as said ill just keep them and make far more money from just 1 spawn than i would for selling the group so i dont lose out either way

How much do you get for your fry? I have some from my last spawn I was considering selling. Do you actually find you make a profit in the fish you breed?

How much do you get for your fry? I have some from my last spawn I was considering selling. Do you actually find you make a profit in the fish you breed?

considering they are a group that breed very regular yes theres a huge profit i sell for £2.50 - £3 each or 5 for £10-£12 or 10 for £20 everage batch works out at 80-100 fry 90% survival rate so u do the maths lol but thats just from 1 female both females spawn and both have spawned in the past at the same time with over 300 eggs feeding doesnt cost much i have my own microworm cuture and i buy tetra prima in bulk so basically the amount i get is pretty much all profit
