I have a breeding pair of green saums male about 8” female about 5/6”
They are currently in a 75g along with 1 barb

Would you think they would be ok in a 150G with firemouths, electric blue acaras, severum and Oscar?

Many thanks

I think it would be ok. If there is a lot of aggression put the green saums back into the 75. This is just my personal opinion but I have no experience with these larger fish so take my opinion for a grain of salt.

I would say that behaviour aside, the 150 is fairly loaded up with fish. Once you factor in the behaviour of a breeding pair that size, I would expect death and disease to hit, quickly. I expect you have young fish in that 150 to be able to get away with the stocking as is.

Remember, what you call a "Green Saum" was known as a "Green Terror" for many decades. Remarketing them hasn't changed how they treat tankmates, especially when paired off with something to defend.
