If you saw my earlier spawn post you'll see that I was attempting breed my green/red mutli CT with a emerald HM. Well everything was going great, I ended up with over 200 eggs. but during the night, my male, *sigh* he destroyed the nest and ate ALL the eggs :( I took him out of the spawning tank and am going to recondition the pair. I'm going to try a new pair today. Any suggestion? masked blue steel pair? or black/blue butterfly pair? or a combination of both??

Aww... hate when that happens!!!!

Of my three spawn attempts, so far only one of mine has been successful. My black/blue BF male and female devoured the eggs as soon as they came out! So disappointing. {{{HUGS}}}

My vote... go for your black/blue BF pair. :) I'm trying my pair again soon and if they eat the eggs again but you have luck with yours, I will take some of your babies off your hands! :) Or vice versa. B) :(

:X that sucks, a lot!

Honestly, I think you should try the boy I sent you!!! It really wouldn't hurt to try, he might impress you. My friend Christine had amazing success with one of my pairs, and so have a few other breeders. Of course there's always the chance of a mishap, but it's worth a try!
