Alrighty Guys, here is my breeding tank

I am replacing the icecream container with a terracotta pot base with a hole cut in the front (i have seen many people have success with this)
Should i take the rocks out?
I dont see why it would be an issue as they dont drop their eggs in the gravel but in their caves

Here it is with the terracotta pot base, I decided to leave the rocks in as the tank looks cleaner, and i found a fairly large piece of slate to sit the pot on so they still have a flat surface in the cave :D

Here is the male, He is about 3-4 inches

Sweet pics man! Looking good, would be pretty fun if after all that they spawn in the little log ;) Where abouts in Australia are you? I'm from Brisbane and looking for some bn breeding caves for a decent price if you know anywhere ahha

im in adelaide, not joke, i went to mitre10, went to the garden section and got the terracotta pot base for $3.50 lol marked and cut the hole with an angle grinder.
I have seen multiple videos and they seem to work.

The video i got the idea from is this one

Ok guys, unfortunately the journal will go on hold for abit.....again

Reasoning for this is as follows

The 3 plecos belonged to my girlfriends mum
She has decided to sell her tank as she is getting bored of the hobby.
As a result she is alllowing me to keep the BN's :DDDD (Happily accepted them as a perm member of the family)
Now this is where the journal comes to a sticky stop for abit as the tank i have been using as a breeding tank actually belongs to mum and she was allowing me to use it as a breeding tank
The issue is now that she wants that tank back so she can have a shrimp breeding tank (fair enough its her tank)
Now i am trying to buy my gf's mums tank as it is an aquaone 4ft Tank which i think is the Aquience 1200R $300au (BAAAAAARGAIN!)
But as i am no longer trying to encourage the BN to spawn, i am going to put them back in there original tank and let nature run its course, i want to keep this journal going as i do hope that they do still breed in the future

Sorry for the inconvinience guys but i will post pics once i have the tank redecorated to acccomodate the BN's again
