i have a 36 litre tank set up and was wondering weather it is big enough for a breeding tank for black neons
also can any one tell me a bit more on what i have to do with egg layers
have bred platys before but that is not really very hard

black neons are a big step from livebearers, they are one of the hardest egg layers to breed in home aquaria, everything has to be right, water params etc

a mature setup will increase chances of success, along with water of a PH of around 6.6,

IMHO 36 litres is too small for any tetra apart from ember etc. they are active fish, that need the space.
